A future human looks back on the history of Earth from the "day the sun explodes."
[edit] Synopsis
In the distant future, an observer has a very limited amount of time to gather all available records of the beginnings and the founders of the Interstellar Alliance, and the records reveal more than a few surprises. (Attrib: B5 LogBook [1])
[edit] Main Plot
- 2262 Talking heads -- Political opponents debate and belittle the ISA's chances of succeeding.
- 2362 Talking heads -- A century later, an ISN newscast talks about the last one hundred years of the Interstellar Alliance. Most of them believe Delenn and Sheridan's importance to the ISA was overstated but are confronted by a much older Delenn.
- 2762 "Goodfacts:" Anti-ISA and Pro-ISA forces begin another Earth Civil War.
- 3262 "We live for the one...:" Centuries after the second Earth Civil War and The Great Burn, a little known monastic order tries to reintroduce technology to Earth, with the aid of the Anla'shok.
- In the end, a new beginning. As the Sol system's sun goes nova, the Human race leaves for New Earth. Humans have also evolved into First One-like beings of energy complete with encounter suits and techno-organic ships. (Note the Ranger emblem on the right center ventral of the ship.)
[edit] Backstory
Sheridan and Delenn arrive at the station, married, to a moderately unwanted, though festive, confetti welcome. The scene shifts to their passing through thongs of well-wishers enroute to one of Sheridan's quarters, then jumps to the two of them snuggled in bed discussing the future. To hear Sheridan tell it, likely nobody would remember them a hundred years into the future...

[edit] Note
It is not said, but New Earth is assumed to be the former Vorlon homeworld, since Lyta claimed that it would be a million years before anyone would be allowed to go there.
