Ta'Lon met John Sheridan when the two of them were kidnapped by the Streib. With his consciousness subverted by a Streib mind-control device, Ta'Lon attempted to kill Sheridan. After Sheridan managed to remove the device, the two of them escaped the ship together.

The whereabouts and doings of Ta'Lon were largely unknown until he arrived on Babylon 5 with the new Centauri-appointed liaison, Na'Far. He vowed to protect Sheridan, owing his life to the captain.

He carries a ceremonial K'tok, always strapped to his back, ready to be drawn at a moment's notice.

When Sheridan and Delenn move the government of the Interstellar Alliance to Minbar, G'Kar appoints Ta'Lon as both the political and spiritual leader of all Narn on Babylon 5.
