Disambig:
- This page is a disambiguation page. It is a navigational aid to pages that otherwise share the same name, but are unique.
Imdb_name: Bruce Boxleitner at the Internet Movie Database
- Example shown. See Template_Talk:imdb_name for details on usage.
Imdb_name2: Bruce Boxleitner at the Internet Movie Database
- This is the lazy approach. Please use "imdb" template if you can.
- Example shown. See Template_Talk:imdb_name2 for details on usage.

[edit] This page has been marked for deletion
For one reason or another, this page has been marked for deletion. In order to prevent unnecessary or dangerous deletes, the moderators of The Great Machine will verify whether or not this is accurate and make a proper decision regarding the deletion.
- Use this tag when you believe a page is in need of deletion. As stated in template, this will be reviewed and followed up as necessary.
[edit] Stubs and Content
Stub: This article is a Stub. You can help The Great Machine by expanding it.
- Stubs are articles that are "not quite articles." There's just not enough content in them. Tagging an article as a stub marks it for future addition.
Mstub: This article is a mega Stub. You can help The Great Machine by creating it.
- Mega Stubs are for use only for articles where no content exists.
- The {{flow}} tag is for articles that are difficult to read due to flow, readability, or layout issues. Please check what links here for pages that need work.
- The {{format|Example}} tag is used to highlight articles that need reformatting to adhere to a specific style of layout used for that article type. Change "Example" to indicate the appropriate layout.
- The {{refine}} tag is used to identify articles that need clarification of text or other grammatical improvements.
- Use {{passive}} to encourage writers to be brief, direct and succinct. Why use three words when one will do? (ex: "the use of" vs "using", or "As of now" vs "now," or "presently," etc...)
[edit] Spoilers
Spoiler:Spoiler warning: Plot, character development, or ending details follow.
- Use the {{spoiler}} tag to separate content which may spoil those unfamiliar with the show.
Spoiler warning: Plot or ending details follow. Affecting people who have not seen/read: A Call To Arms
- Similar to the spoiler tag but more flexible. To use, fill in the proper information when calling the template, for example, {{spoiler2|[[A Call To Arms]]}} which is displayed above.
Spoiler warning: Plot or ending details follow.
- Use the {{cspoiler}} tag to separate content which may spoil those unfamiliar with Crusade.
Spoiler warning: Plot or ending details follow. Affecting people who have not seen/read: The Long Road
- Similar to the cspoiler tag but more flexible. To use, fill in the proper information when calling the template, for example, {{cspoiler2|[[The Long Road]]}} which is displayed above.
[edit] General Notations on Source Material
References- Use {{ref}} to encourage writers to locate and provide supporting references to the materials they include in their articles.
- Should be self-explanatory. Use when the source below is known to be non-canon. Example, B5Wars, RPGs, the B5 Technical Manual (or Security Manual, whatever it may be called). This is important because while overall B5 canon rarely finds itself in clear conflict with external sources, it has on occasion seen changes that may not quite fit appropriately with the known technologies, cultures, or characters in light of the creators' own interests.
- For use when specific information is not available, as often is the case with non-canon content. Use when you (the editor) are making comments which may be impossible to back with facts.
- Used to tag content that either looks or is known to be inaccurate, so that editors can quickly locate and correct the information.
- The {{bts}} tag is used to identify portions of the article taken from the production of the show rather than the show itself. i.e., comments from the cast and crew, but any other information pertaining to the production is valid here.
