Mr. Adams is a strange, little man who tried to hire Michael Garibaldi to find his dog and cat, who were apparently trying to take over the galaxy.

Mr. Adams is in fact Scott Adams, writer and creator of the Dilbert carton strip. The dog and cat who are trying to take over the galaxy are two of his characters, Dogbert and Catbert.
