Alyt Neroon was a high-ranking member of the Minbari Warrior Caste. He was second in command to Shai Alyt Branmer for 15 years until Branmer's death in 2258. During the Earth-Minbari War, Neroon fought in the Battle of the Line.
In 2258, he escorted Shai Alyt Branmer's body on its final tour toward home on Minbar, made B5 one of the tour's stops, challenged Sinclair and the entire Babylon 5 command staff over the disappearance of said body, and (at Delenn's urging) reached a rather intriguing rapproachment with Sinclair before departing the station.
In 2259, he became a member of the Grey Council, taking the seat of Satai Delenn. This caused an imbalance in the Grey Council as the Warrior Caste now had four representatives instead of three.
Later in that same year, he plotted against Delenn to become the leader of the Anla'shok, but was hindered by Marcus Cole and experienced a change of heart.
During the Minbari Civil War, he aided the leader of his caste, Shai Alyt Shakiri, while secretly working together with Delenn to end the war. At the surrender ceremony in the Temple of Varenni he stepped into the light of the Starfire Wheel, proclaiming his conversion to the Religious Caste. His death in the Starfire Wheel ended the civil war.
