Because there is a lot of conflicting information out there I suggest we cite our source of information.

[edit] Canon

In general canon material shouldn't need to be cited usually. The following locations are sources of canon material:

  • TV shows, TV movies, and DVDs
  • Novels written based on JMS story outlines
  • JMS newsgroup posts
  • JMS commentary

[edit] Semi-canon

The following locations are semi-canon and should be cited mainly when there is conflicting information:

  • Lurker's Guide

[edit] Non-canon

Anything that is non-canon you should always cite. These places are almost always non-canon:

  • Any and all websites
  • Any fan fiction
  • Any fan lore
  • Any actor/actress commentary
