- [[Category:Name]] will place the page in the category named "name"
- [[Category:Name|Sort Text]] will place the page in the category named "name" and sort it based on the Sort Text rather then the article title
- [[:Category:Name]] will place an inline link to the category named "name"

- A couple of rules I am using to structure the Categories:
- Anything in (Species) Ships is also in Ships
- Anything in Major Races, Minor Races, Organizations of Races, and Firstones is also in Species
- Anyting in Organizations of Races, Ruling Bodies, and Radical Organizations is also in Organizations
- Nothing should be in the Babylon 5: and Root categories other then other Categories. (That is no articles.)
- How to fix the category bug: If you create a new category, create the Category page BEFORE adding any items to it. Otherwise the items will be bugged and will always thing the Category needs editing. If you do add an item before creating the category you can fix it by the following:
- Type (or paste) the page name after the following URL string: http://tgm.firstones.com/index.php?action=purge&title=
