EAS Apollo was an Omega Class destroyer of Earthforce.

EAS Apollo, General Robert Lefcourt commanding, was the flagship for Clark's Earth Force fleet at Mars, whose mission was to delay or destroy Captain Sheridan's rebel fleet before it could jump to Earth.

The Apollo, as well as 29 of her sister ships, was momentarily crippled above Mars, when the Resistance secreted aboard 30 of the frozen telepaths. Triggered by Lyta Alexander on the Martian surface, these telepaths merged with ships' systems and rendered them inoperable.

General Lefcourt's quick thinking and his crew's swift action brought the Apollo back into the fight just in time to prevent Captain Sheridan, in the EAS Agamemnon, from ramming one of the remaining Earth Defense satellite platforms that President Clark had re-trained to obliterate the eastern seaboard of the North American continent. His actions saved Captain Sheridan, the EAS Agamemnon and her crew, and officially ended the first Earth Civil War.
