Drakh Raider

From The Great Machine

Jump to: navigation, search

An extremely swift, agile, and deadly fighter belonging to the Drakh. These ships are transported to battle by the Drakh Carrier, acting as its sole defense against enemy vessels.

[edit] Overview

Packing remarkable firepower for a vessel of its size, the Drakh Raider is an otherwise average vessel within the Drakh fleet. The craft's skin is brown in color, with yellow and green stripes on the surface blending to create a nearly organic feel to the hull shared by all Drakh craft. There is no evidence that Raider (or any other Drakh ship) is built on or using organic technology.

[edit] Structural Remarks

The Raider is characterised by its long, narrow neck which is attached to a disproportionately large sphereoid region housing its primary weapon, an extraordinarily powerful beam. Protruding from the rear and extending forwards are five "wings" lit from within by an unknown source.

Did you indicate that particular design?
Yeah, I indicated a flower-like design. With the lethalness behind them, it seemed like a nice contrast.

It has been assumed that the five "wings" of the vessel contain its propulsion systems, gravetic in nature. This due to the fact that there are no visible exhaust vents, a trademark of non-chemical propulsion systems.
