Cynthia Allen

Cynthia Allen (Jamie Rose) was Max Eilerson's ex-wife. She also took care of Mr. Kitty.

She is an entrepreneur, her business being the sale of exotic and alien works. Her main customers were on Earth. (The Rules of the Game)

She eventually left Max Eilerson after he had become a "company man, head to toe".

When the Drakh Plague hit Earth, her business was economically affected. Without a means to get her items to her customers on Earth and with the Earth currency rapidly decreasing in value, she could not procure the finances to help her from official sources. She approached Rolf Mueller, who loaned her 50,000 credits -- with 100% interest compounded every six months.

She felt that even if she had paid him off, he would not stop following her; everywhere she went, he went as well.

When Eilerson went to Mueller to pay off the 50,000, Mueller demanded the additional half (the interest, 100% compounded every six months) as well. To get things moving, the cat was abducted and Mueller managed to enter Allen's quarters by means of a recording of Eilerson's name.

Had it not been for the presence of Sarah Chambers, Allen would have been killed. Mueller was thwarted temporarily, at least until Eilerson stopped him by using alien technology used in the control of prisoners.

With one of the remote transmitters for the collar on her, Allen was a free woman again.
