A Vorlon-sponsored inquisitor arrives on the station to test Delenn at the request of Ambassador Kosh. G'Kar rallies the remaining Narn on Babylon 5.

[edit] Synopsis

Spoiler warning: Plot, character development, or ending details follow.

Delenn is summoned by Kosh, who cryptically informs her that he has called for an inquisitor from the Vorlon homeworld, an interrogator who will determine Delenn's true allegiances and motivations in her preparation for the coming war.

Sheridan greets the visitor: Presumed to be another Vorlon, the newcomer turns out to be human. Not just any human, he allegedly comes from the 19th century London, and claims to have been whisked away from Earth by the Vorlons.

Delenn's interrogation begins, and becomes a far more brutal affair than expected, as Sebastian tortures her for what he deems "inadequate" or "irrelevant" answers to ambiguous, nearly metaphysical questions.

While Delenn barely endures tests she does not understand, G'Kar quietly struggles to maintain control of the Narns on the station, all of whom are pooling their resources to build an underground resistance on the conquered Narn homeworld.

Finally, Sheridan interferes in Delenn's inquisition, and discovers that his intervention is indeed anticipated. (Attrib: B5 LogBook [1])
