Brakiri

Brakiri, as a race, are a member of the League of Non-Aligned Worlds aboard the station Babylon 5. The Brakiri people are a relatively minor player in galactic affairs, but they are still important, having provided significant forces to fight in the Shadow War. Brakiri are renowned businesspersons, and are governed by a body called the Krona, which focuses almost exclusively on pursuit of economic strength.

One unique aspect of the Brakiri as a spacefaring society is their reliance on a single ship design for all applications. The Avioki class ship is used for transport, as a passenger liner, and as a warship.

The Brakiri have had intersteller flight since the year 2111. We also know that Brakiri are nocturnal.

Brakiri, in addition to supporting their own colonies, have defense treaties with other races, planets, and peoples. These treaties include mutual defense treaties, which stipulate that the Brakiri must protect a planet from attack or invasion for 10% of the yearly planetary income. One such planet is Lorka 7. (The Rules of the Game)
