From The Great Machine

The one and only season of Crusade was set in 2267. The ill-fated spin-off series began after the Drakh struck Earth with a Biogenetic Plague on the ISA's 5th anniversary in late 2266, as described in the prequel movie A Call to Arms. Captain Gideon and his crew then set out on a mission to find a cure in the ISA Excalibur.
